Prof. Nweke joins the GEER team for their expedition to southeastern Taiwan after the September (9\/17 & 9\/18) M6.4 and M6.9 earthquake events for the collection of perishable data and investigation in the to Geotechnical damages and observed seismic hazard consequences. Three Nanometric 120 second broadband seismometers also made the trip to collect ambient noise data for subsurface site characterization to be used for seismic site response modeling. Thanks to the Taiwan National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE) for hosting our expedition and helping with the investigations.<\/p>\n
