The 2022 Chihshang, Taiwan, Earthquake: Initial GEER Team Observations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The technical abstract paper highlights the odd behavior observed in the aftermath of the Taiwan earthquakes where stations on opposite ends of the same valley exhibit drastically different ground motion. This is believed to be due to strong directivity effects. Thank you to the GEER team and the GEER board for the opportunity to participate in such an important disaster recon.
