The Nweke Research Group conducts research investigations in the field of seismic hazard and geotechnical engineering. We are focused on solving problems concerned with the characterization of hazards and determining the capacity of geoengineering materials through the use of modeling (empirical and theoretical), testing (field and laboratory), and analysis. Our goal at The N.E.S.T is to improve the engineering resiliency of civil infrastructure and the supporting systems by fostering sustainable foresight and pursuing telluric (well-grounded) collaborative excellence.
