Prof. Nweke was invited to present of his most recently published paper in the Earthquake Spectra journal title “Southern California Basin and Non-Basin Classification Algorithm for Ground-Motion Site Amplification Model Applications”.
Prof. Nweke gives a presentation on recent research investigating the “Impacts of Multi-scale Site Conditions on Sedimentary Basins Seismic Amplification (Site Response)”. This presentation was an invited seminar for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Prof. Nweke was hosted by Prof. Tadahiro Kishida.
Prof. Nweke was invited to give a seminar presentation at the USC Earth Science Department. His presentation was centered around the impacts of multi scale site condition features (specifically sub basins) on regional-to-local scale site response effects.
