Dr. Nweke was invited to give a guest lecture to the geotechnical group and students at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on November 4th, 2020. The lecture was to serves as an introduction and exposure to earthquake related topics in soil mechanics. Dr. Nweke presented on his work on basin effects and also touched on the connectivity with other hazards such as hurricanes, wildfires, and flooding.
