The Nweke Research Group: N.E.S.T Lab went operational today with the installation of out Resonant Column/Torsional Shear Device from GCTS. Our Device can also be transformed into a triaxial device to run test on soil samples under configurations of consolidated or unconsolidated, drained and undrained. The Confining pressures can go up to 1000 KPa and the torsional capacity can go up to 2.33 N-m.
